Our direct client has an opening for a Business Analyst 10964-1

 

This position is up to 9 months, with the option of extension, and is in Columbia, SC

Corp to Corps are NOT allowed for this client. W2 Only.

The business analyst will be responsible for working on project teams with project managers and other otis staff or independently to:

• Document processes and procedures for various areas of OTIS or for projects with state agencies.
• Analyze processes and propose improvements in support of continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct requirements gathering, elicitation, analysis and management for projects.
• Conduct needs assessments or gap analyses for projects.
• Support stakeholder management with project managers.
• Lead testing and solution/product validation in the software development lifecycle (sdlc) when needed.
• Plan for testing activities.
• Lead testing activities.
• Track and manage testing activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• Ability to take complicated processes and document them in MS Visio or MS Word
• Requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation
• Analysis of processes and continuous improvement
• Testing of systems and bug/defect tracking
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• Ability to identify, map, and support business processes
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and requirements
• Strong collaborator and strong ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work at a high-volume and fast pace
• Support regulatory compliance projects
• Strong schedule management and planning skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of related work experience

• INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS ANALYSIS (IIBA)
• Ability to analyze and document, business and system processes using various methods and tools. Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 4 - 6 Years
