Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Department: Finance

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports To: AVP Finance

Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist position is a full-time, entry level position that will provide support to the AVP Finance. This position will assist with general office duties while training and learning full cycle accounting, including but not limited to reviewing and inputting vendor invoices, issuing vendor checks, and maintaining vendor accounts in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to research and resolve minor to complex findings.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

· College degree, or equivalent experience in accounting required

· Excellent phone & computer skills, including Excel, is required

· Financial related experience a plus

· Experience with Sage 300 is a plus

· Must be reliable and dependable

· Attention to detail

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Team player

· Ability to work with time sensitive and confidential matters

· Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
