Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our clients growing team in San Diego, CA. This role is essential in supporting the accounting operations, specifically assisting with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative environment. The anticipated salary for this role is between $50,000 and $60,000/yr and the potential for a flexible working schedule down the road.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations for both AP and AR
· Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
· Maintain and organize financial records
· Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes
· Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable is preferred
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· No degree required -value experience and skills
