About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Head for Clinical Affairs in Cardiology, a key physician leader responsible for the clinical practice and operations within the Division of Cardiology. This role involves overseeing a large team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and fellows, and working closely with administrative and clinical research staff to build and optimize clinical programs. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison between the Division and the healthcare system, ensuring quality, safety, and protocol alignment. Core duties include program development, operational harmonization, and the advancement of divisional strategy. The role also encompasses workforce development, education, research, and innovation, as well as financial and strategic growth. Applicants must have an MD, DO, MD-PhD, or DO-PhD degree, be board-certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership and operations role. The position requires a strong background in clinical operations, quality, safety, and outcomes, as well as experience in workforce development and professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program development, and a publication record in the field of Cardiology. The role demands a leader who can champion a just-culture, and patient, staff, and provider experience, and who is committed to advancing equity in outcomes and access. The Associate Head will also be involved in education and training, and must be adept at fostering collaboration with various stakeholders, both within the organization and in the broader community.
