Job Description

Role Purpose:

Casa de Montecristo a high-end Cigar Lounge/Bar, is recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic part-time Bar back. We are looking for a motivated, energetic bar back to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting our bartenders with service to keep the bar operational at all times. A high-energy, can-do, friendly attitude is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Restock liquor, mixers, and garnishes behind bar
• Perform busing responsibilities such as clearing empty cups and trash from bar top and tables
• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of bar (i.e. wipe down surfaces, push chairs and stools in, arrange drink menus , etc.)
• Perform clean-ups of spills or other customer accidents as needed
• Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean rags at bar tending stations at all times
• Clean cups and dishes in back of house; adhere to dish-washing procedures
• Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean glasses in front of house at all times
• Check and re-stock ice bins
• Assist bartenders with back of house liquor inventory
• Ensure customer satisfaction by smiling and answering any questions our customers may ask

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in bar backing or busing preferred
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Detail oriented, organized, cleanly
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be 21 and older
