We are currently hiring Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our team in the beautiful Bay Area of California! Who You are: The Behavior Analyst, plans, developsand manages the behavioral management services and intervention for clientsassigned to their caseload for our Behavioral Management Services (BMS) and Adult Day Services (ADS) programs.Performance of the typical responsibilities and dutiesrequires the ability to provide direction concerning service delivery, the ability tocommunicate effectively in writing and verbally, provide client-centered behavioralmanagement services and guidance of Behavioral Management Assistants, involving job-relatedmatters that are of moderate to unusual complexity.
Who we are: Spread Your Wings LLC beganin 2016 providing services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesand responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients. Given our experience and tenure of serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we also set forth a goal to include children and youth to the population we serve. Having that in mind,in early 2022, we were able to launchour Behavioral Management Services (ACCESS Behavioral Services) as a part of our company, and our primary duty is to provide the appropriate behavioral interventions and support tailored to the needs and desires of each individual, regardless of their age for all of our programs. Currently, we are primarily serving adults, but have been increasing our services to youths as well, and hope to continue to serve all age groups.We realize that typical ABA/Behavioral Service agencies may primarily focus on serving the youth population, but we hope that the right candidates are open and available to work with all ages. Please note that this is a hybrid position, so about 50-60% of the work may be done remotely.
Essential Job Functions: - Develop and implement functional behavioral assessment and behavioral interventionplans for individualsassigned to their caseload
- Gather data and incorporate the information gathered into the individual's BehavioralIntervention Plan (BIP) and continue to use the tools tomonitor progress towards the individual's BIP objectives
- Work collaboratively with Behavioral Management Assistants, regional centerpersonnel,and individual’s family/caregivers in the development and implementation oftheir BIP
- Provide regular updates of the individual’sprogress towards their BIPobjectives and makemodifications to theplan as needed, so it continues to meet the individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide guidance, oversight, support, and training to the Behavioral Management Assistants
- Apply confidentiality regulations and practices to everyday tasks
- Provide great customer service to individuals, theirfamily members/caregivers, and others in all interactions
Minimum Qualifications: - Licensed as a Board-CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Have at least one yearof experience in the designing and/or implementing behavior modification/intervention services
- Familiar with the treatment/behavioral planning process, documentation, data-collection and evaluation of collected data
- Prior experience in a supervisory/leadership role, preferred
Salary range is $55-60/hour, depending on education/experience (and part-time/full-time status). Full-time employees will also receive: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, Monthly Auto Stipend, and company-paid Life Insurance coverage.
