What You'll Do as a Front Desk Receptionist As a key member of our team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring every client and pet has a positive experience. When customers call or stop by, you'll greet them with warmth and enthusiasm-just like a happy Golden Retriever!
Your day will include:
- Welcoming clients and explaining our services
- Checking pets in and out, collecting accurate information, and handling any necessary paperwork
- Escorting dogs to and from the lobby areas during drop-off and pick-up
- Answering phones with professionalism and friendliness
- Maintaining clear communication with our pet care team and pet parents
Your attention to detail, upbeat attitude, and love for helping others will make you a vital part of our success.
What We're Looking For - Strong phone and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
- Basic dog handling skills
Schedule Requirements: This role for our Overnight Lodging location requires availability for one of the following weekly shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Every other weekend is required.
This role for our Daycare and Training location requires availability for one of the following weekly shifts:
- 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM (Monday-Friday)
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday-Friday )
- Occasional shifts on Sunday's over the summer
Experience in a pet boarding or dog daycare facility is a plus, but not required. Previous customer service experience is also helpful-we're happy to train the right person!

Please Note: Physical Requirements of Working in Pet Care Working in a pet care facility is physically demanding. Team members must be able to stand for extended periods and, depending on the role, spend significant time outdoors in various weather conditions. Regular cleaning and sanitizing of the facility are required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both pets and staff. Handling dogs of all sizes is an essential part of the job, which may include bending, lifting, or dogs over 50 lbs., managing strong dogs pulling or jumping, and maintaining control in an active environment. Twisting, bending, or lifting of supplies, equipment or other items may be required. Our facility prioritizes safety, and all team members are expected to always follow established policies and procedures.
