US Shrink Wrap, Inc. is the industry leader in Temporary Shrink Wrap Containments. US Shrink Wrap is rapidly growing and is seeking motivated and experienced skilled Carpenters with knowledge of various carpentry trades, techniques and tools. Prior shrink wrap installation experience is not required, and the successful candidates will be trained. Applicants should have commercial construction industry experience and will need at the minimum an OSHA 10 Certification. Should the successful applicants not have the certification we will provide the training for them. Our company works on Union, Non-Union and Prevailing Wage projects.

Qualifications

· Driver’s License and a good driving record (Ability to rent and drive a vehicle if needed)

· Able to start immediately

· Man Lift/Scissor Lift Certification preferred but not required

· Good communication skills

· Able to take direction

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the carpentry field (not required for helpers)

· The ability to work independently and complete required daily tasks

· Able to perform heavy physical activity throughout the workday

· Drug test and background check required for most projects (Must be able to pass)

· Must be available to work overtime when required

Required Skills and Responsibilities

· Measure materials or distances, using measuring tape, square, or rule to lay out work and for assembly and installation

· Cut, saw lumber, according to specified measurements using various tools (i.e., power saw, hand tools)

· Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

· Proficient in safely operating tools, machines, and electrical/manual equipment

· Properly exhibit compliance with health and safety guidelines, tool and equipment usage, and dress codes at all times

· Successful applicants must be able to learn and produce quality work quickly, be hardworking and reliable, and communicate respectfully with team members and customers

Physical Requirements

· Good physical condition and endurance

· Ability to climb, pull, push, bend, kneel and stand for long periods

· Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds repetitively
