Job Description

About Us:

Quikaid is a technology- and marketing-driven company based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our company was founded in 1993. We are a direct-to-consumer marketing company that provides legal representation services (specifically, Social Security Disability benefits). We market to and service clients throughout the United States, and we are one of the top firms in our industry, with a goal of becoming #1 in our industry through marketing expertise and operational excellence.

We are a well-managed and rapidly growing company with significant room for continued growth. We are a data-driven organization seeking a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing activities and build out our marketing team over time. The primary goal of our Marketing activities is to deliver cost-effective and high-quality leads by optimizing our marketing mix through creativity and data analytics.

Role Overview:

As the CMO , you will have primary responsibility for optimizing, implementing and managing our lead generation activities. Our current marketing mix includes purchased leads from third party lead vendors, client referrals, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media advertising expenditures (Facebook, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.). We have also utilized television and radio advertising on a limited basis. We have a state-of-the-art production studio (“Studio Q”) at our headquarters, with content creation capabilities to assist with marketing efforts.

As we build our in-house marketing capabilities, we would like to become less reliant on third party purchased leads, with the long-term goal of generating all leads through in-house marketing activities. Currently, we spend approximately 50% of our marketing budget on a portfolio of third-party lead generation companies, which you will optimize by evaluating lead quality, cost and volume, and negotiating with these vendors based on performance data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, and other platforms to deliver high-quality and cost-effective leads. Conduct A/B testing to maximize performance and stay updated on platform changes and industry best practices to optimize expenditures.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic through keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization, and link-building.
  • Serve as primary liaison between our company and our third-party lead generation vendors. This will include analyzing the data and performance results of these lead sources to determine which ones should be “dialed back” or “turned off” and which ones should be increased. It is also necessary to audit their (and our own) compliance with applicable laws, such as TCPA.
  • Analyze performance data across our marketing mix to spend our advertising budget effectively and efficiently by evaluating performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and guiding strategic decisions for future investments.
  • Utilize our state-of-the-art, proprietary case management system to generate data needed to support decision making. Prepare detailed reports on key metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, ROI, etc. Leverage insights and data analysis to optimize ongoing and future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our in-house software development team to ensure that leads are being processed correctly from a technological perspective (APIs, phone system, etc.).
  • Collaborate with our Intake Department to ensure they have sufficient lead volume based on staffing levels and overall workload; seek to keep “supply” (of leads) and “demand” (Intake team) in balance.
  • Manage all marketing activities and personnel, which may include full-time employees, contractors, etc.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies. Analyze the impact of trends on lead costs and profitability, leveraging data to identify growth opportunities and develop long-term marketing strategies.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000, based on demonstrated experience. Additionally, a bonus of $25,000 per year can be earned through the achievement of specific, agreed-upon goals. Lastly, we provide raises for strong performers based on results and contributions to our company’s success.

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. During your Orientation Period (which will last 10 weeks), the schedule will be 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM in the office . At the end of your Orientation Period, you will reach your Benefit Eligibility Date . At this time, you will transition from an in-office position to a hybrid schedule , which will include three days working in the office and up to two days working from home (WFH) each week. Further details regarding schedule flexibility and other benefits will be discussed during the interview.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, with a proven track record in digital marketing and data analytics.
  • An analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to analyze marketing data and present insights to guide informed, data-drive decisions.
  • Hands-on experience managing PPC and digital marketing campaigns, including proven experience using Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook and other platforms.
  • Expertise using PPC tools (Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.), with the ability to identify opportunities and implement the required changes and monitor SEO success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage our portfolio of third-party lead providers by analyzing data (price, quality, volume, performance trends, etc.) and make data-driven recommendations regarding vendor value.
  • Expertise in MS Excel (functions, pivot tables, conditional logic, formatting, graphs, etc.).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in hiring and managing a marketing team, including full-time employees and/or contractors, and providing leadership within a marketing-based organization.
  • Positive attitude and energy combined with willingness and ability to do what needs to get done.
  • Ability to understand what specific capabilities are required (and how to identify resources) to achieve company goals.
  • Strong desire for career growth, which is consistent with our commitment to hire individuals dedicated to building long-term careers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, data analytics, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Benefits:

  • Our company pays 100% of medical, dental and vision insurance benefits. We offer a variety of health insurance plans from which you will choose the most appropriate based on your circumstances.
  • We provide 15 days of Paid Time Off (“PTO”) per year, which can be used for sick days, vacation days, personal days, etc. After 5 years of employment, this increases to 20 days of PTO per year, with further increases over time.
  • You will receive six paid holidays per year.
  • You will have the option to participate in our 401(k)-retirement plan. For every dollar you contribute toward your own retirement, we will match 100% up to 6.0% of your compensation.
  • We host fun company events, including company-sponsored contests in addition to birthday bonuses, work anniversary bonuses, and various other celebrations throughout the year. We believe in working hard and having fun!
  • We provide a flexible work schedule, including a hybrid option to allow you to work from home up to 2 days per week, to allow for a healthy work-life balance.
  • We will assist with acquiring the necessary work-from-home office hardware, if needed. This will be described further during the interview process.

Additional Information:

  • We are seeking a candidate for an immediate start date, but this can be adjusted as needed for the right candidate (for example, if you must provide 2 weeks’ notice to your current employer).
  • You may be asked to complete an online assessment to test basic knowledge of computers, grammar, typing, etc.
  • Interviews will be conducted in-office with members of our management team.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug test prior to employment.

  • Quikaid is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate against any employee or job applicant based on race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, veteran status, or disability status. We adhere to all federal, state, and local laws that protect individuals from discrimination based on these characteristics.
