About the Role
This hybrid role bridges clinical genetics and medical affairs to improve cancer care through advanced diagnostics and personalized medicine. You’ll serve patients directly in hereditary cancer genetic counseling while also supporting medical strategy, education, and evidence generation in precision oncology. You’ll work across teams—from clinical to commercial—to advance genomic services and cancer diagnostics in US.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Genetics & Counseling

  • Conduct pre- and post-test genetic counseling for patients with suspected hereditary cancer syndromes
  • Use risk models and family histories to assess cancer predisposition and guide risk management
  • Interpret genetic test results and coordinate follow-up with clinical specialists
  • Document cases, manage test logistics, and communicate effectively with labs and consultants
  • Educate and supervise trainees and professionals in cancer genetics
  • Contribute to research in cancer genetics and patient outcomes

Medical Affairs & Precision Oncology

  • Engage KOLs in oncology, hematology, and pathology to drive awareness of genomic testing and diagnostics
  • Deliver scientific education on MRD, MCED, therapy selection, and other precision oncology tools
  • Support advisory boards, educational events, and clinical study programs
  • Lead real-world data initiatives and collaborate on investigator-led research
  • Integrate insights across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Clinical teams to refine strategy
Represent the organization at conferences and contribute to regional and global scientific efforts

Requirements

  • Master’s in Genetic Counseling, or MD/PhD/PharmD in oncology, genetics, or molecular biology
  • 2–4 years’ experience in clinical genetics or medical affairs in oncology/diagnostics
  • Strong grasp of NGS, liquid biopsy, MRD, and MCED technologies
  • Skilled communicator with experience engaging HCPs and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable navigating US and global healthcare environments
  • Analytical, empathetic, and effective working independently and collaboratively
