Job Title: CNA / Personal Care Assistant (PRN)
Job Type: PRN (As Needed)
Reports To: Administrator, Director, On-Site Manager, Home Provider, and Supervisory Staff

Job Summary:

As a CNA/Personal Care Assistant at Home Plus Care, your role is to support clients in achieving the highest possible quality of life within their home environment. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist with daily living activities tailored to each client's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with mobility including ambulation, transfers, and proper positioning

• Provide personal hygiene support : bathing, grooming, shaving, oral care, dressing, and feeding

• Address and support clients' special care needs based on individualized plans

• Help maintain home management tasks , including light housekeeping

• Ensure home safety and promote sanitary living conditions

• Follow infection control procedures in the home setting

• Perform basic health-related tasks such as taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)

• Support clients with proper nutrition and meal planning/preparation

Qualifications:

• Completion of a minimum 40-hour caregiver training program

• Basic First Aid and CPR certification

• Completion of nurse aide training (CNA preferred)

• Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check
