The Community Engagement Specialist role involves helping people understand public and volunteer transit services and the benefits that come with being able to move around their community. 20 to 30 hours per week, dependent on time of year.You would be responsible for connecting with potential riders and talking to them about transportation. You would attend events such as health fairs, farmers markets, local community events and sometimes libraries or a grocery store. The majority of the job is being out in the community interacting with people.
