Job Description
We are providing a long-term contractual opportunity for a Controller in the Real Estate industry. As a Controller, you will be expected to manage a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of financial operations within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Execution and supervision of all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Play a key role in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported
• Work with commercial real estate, understanding the specific accounting and financial needs and regulations of the industry
• Utilize Yardi software for property management and real estate accounting tasks
• Understanding of Commercial Real Estate, with the ability to manage financial aspects related to property and real estate ventures
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), demonstrating an ability to manage day-to-day financial transactions
• Knowledge of Budget Processes, including the ability to develop, implement, and manage financial plans
• Proficiency in using Yardi software, or similar property management system
• Experience with Month End Close procedures, demonstrating an ability to quickly and accurately finalize monthly financial statements.
