About the Role

Were looking for Cosmetic Inspectors with professional automotive prepping experience to join us at Carvana the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history.

Responsibilities

• Identify cosmetic imperfections and/or repairs prereconditioning and postpaint process.
• Perform additional tasks such as prepping, sanding, and masking of vehicles.

Other Paint Roles Available

• Paint Prepper (min 6 months professional experience): prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing.
• EntryLevel Painter (min 1 year professional experience): prime vehicles and perform final sanding before paint, along with buffing, touchup, paint mixing, and airbrush.
• MidLevel Painter (min 3 years professional experience): match/mix paint color and use waterbased paint to paint the vehicle in paint booths.
• Experienced Painter (min 5 years professional experience): base coats, tricoats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; paint correcting vehicles.

Other Automotive Roles

• Auto Body: Paint, Prep/Body work, Wheel Repair, Airbrush, Interior Repair, Glass Repair, PDR.
• Auto Technician/Mechanic: Lube and Oil, Inspection, Brake and Tire, Mechanical Repair / Build, Master Technician.
• EntryLevel: Detailing, Inventory Associate (Car Porters), Photo, Parts Associate, Inspection, Coordinator/Administrator.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 60 lbs independently; 18+ years of age with valid drivers license; may require Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Work in fastpaced, everchanging production environment; exposure to weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use safety equipment: face shield/goggles, nonslip shoes, gloves, mask, other protective gear.
