Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $130,000 - 150,000 per yearWe are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Creative Director to lead, manage, and mentor a talented team of Art Directors and Associate Creative Directors. This vital leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of our graphic design and visual media operations, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of craft and conceptual strength. Responsibilities:People & Team Management: Provide daily managerial oversight, mentorship, and coaching to a team of 4 direct reports, including Art Directors and Associate Creative Directors, focusing on developing their talent and growing the team's capabilities.Creative Direction & Oversight: Lead the creative process from concept through execution, directly overseeing all aspects of graphic design and visual media to maintain consistency, quality, and originality for client work.Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Creative to interpret and activate the long-term creative vision, allowing senior leadership to prioritize strategic growth, business development, and core client relationships.Client & Project Focus: Ensure all deliverables are purposeful, on-brand, and market-leading within the core business areas of developers/multi-family residential, retail, and hotels/hospitality clients.Operational Accountability: Maintain efficient workflows and accountability for deadlines and quality, translating strategic feedback into clear direction for refined, impactful creative solutions.Qualifications:Experience: 10+ years of progressive creative leadership experience, ideally within a full-service agency or high-growth studio environment.Creative Expertise: Proven ability to direct, inspire, and manage multidisciplinary teams, with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, aesthetic refinement, and storytelling across visual media and design.Leadership Skills: Exceptional managerial and mentorship track record, with a focus on empowering emerging talent and cultivating a collaborative, culturally fluent creative environment.Industry Focus (Preferred): Experience working with clients in the real estate (developers/multi-family), retail, or hospitality sectors is a distinct advantage.Logistics & Compensation: Comfort with a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite in either D.C. or New York).JOBID: 122025-119828#LI-CELLA#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
