Job Description

Melrose Park Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner! We are seeking a skilled Fleet Manager that will successfully manage our fleet of 30+ vans/box trucks. Must have or be willing to obtain a Non CDL C Class Drivers License. The candidate must understand the importance of a fast turnaround as it relates to the company's bottom line.

• Perform daily inspections of company vehicles to ensure they are in good condition and clean
• Identify new damages and link them to appropriate drivers and provide coaching for that driver when necessary
• Work with vendors to schedule repairs on fleet
• Work with vendors to schedule preventative maintenance on fleet
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Analyze the effectiveness of operations
• Manage parts inventory to ensure enough stock is on hand
• Update company systems and data sheet with vehicle information
• Responsible for handling company insurance claims
• Complete and submit accident reports promptly to Amazon and MP Logistics leadership
• Be present at all incidents involved with drivers and ensure driver and vehicle arrive back to the station safely
• Maintain current fleet list within the company and with insurance provider to ensure vehicles are added and removed from the insurance as needed
• May be asked to may deliveries during peak seasons and times of increased volume
• Additional Duties may be assigned

• Ability to perform light cosmetic repairs
• Data Entry
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail

Additional Details

• Must be 21 to apply
• No points on driving record within the last 2 years
• Possess Valid Driver's License
• Consent to Drug Screen test
• Ability to get in & out of Cargo Vans & Step Vans
• Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
• Previous automotive experience required

$18/hr - Full Benefits and PTO MELROSE PARK LOGISTICS LLC
