JOB SUMMARY:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-level finance/accounting leader who reports directly to the CFO This position reports to and is a strategic business partner to the CFO. The position is primarily responsible for all corporate accounting and financial planning for the company. Responsibilities would be forecasting, planning, reporting, consolidation, job costing, and analysis functions and develop and manage processes to ensure compliance for defense contracts and other internal audit requirements and will provide leadership to the Financial organization.

• Act as a catalyst for change and help drive business performance improvement
• Manage planning, reporting, consolidation and analysis functions and develop and manage processes to ensure compliance with governmental agencies and other internal audit requirements, as well as US GAAP. reviews, and communicates key drivers for location success.
• Drive financial engagement to operations.
• Create and monitor internal controls that allow operations to meet the financial plan.
• Manage location performance pay plan.
• Lead initiatives to close gaps from current performance to benchmark level.
• Develop strong internal job cost control systems to ensure that plans are met.
• Ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
• Develop systems to ensure maximum profit generation from all areas of the business.
• Create an environment where problems are solved to the root cause.
• Create an environment where systems are used to accurately plan and deliver according to expectations.
• Continuously drive for process improvements.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned/requested
• Demonstrate visible leadership, driving the development and execution of clear financial plans, strategic and tactical objectives, and a project pipeline
• Develop world-class controls environment, ensuring 100% compliance on-time, and ensuring:
• Financial reporting and accounting treatment is consistent with GAAP and corporate policy
• Thorough review, understanding, and ownership of financial statements ensuring relevant, reliable, and representationally faithful reporting
• Compliance with Accounting & Controls Assessments, Audits, Account Reconciliations, SOX controls and documentation, and policy updates
• Ensure sound investment strategy, capital allocation, and robust ROI analysis and execution

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 5 years' experience in a manufacturing accounting role.
