As a Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with the day-to-day operations and programming of our confidential emergency shelter, while developing a concrete understanding of domestic violence and successfully completing your learning objectives. Under the guidance and mentorship of experienced advocates, you will contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for women and children seeking shelter. Your role will involve assisting in providing group or one-on-one advocacy, developing positive relationships with clients, creating personalized safety plans, and ensuring services are provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
