Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of various truck types, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to load and unload freight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and materials transported.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other heavy-duty vehicles.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers is a plus.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
