Job Description

Our client, a leader in high-performance motorsports engineering and powertrain development, is seeking a Dyno Technician to join their team. As a Dyno Technician , you will be part of the Engineering Operations department supporting the Engine Jig, Test Cell, and Gearbox/Chassis teams. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude , excellent problem-solving skills , and a proactive, accountable work ethic , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dyno Technician
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Pay Range: $32.00/hr – $45.00/hr (Depending on experience)

What’s the Job?

• Perform engine jig readiness, installation/removal, and borescope inspections

• Support test cell operations, including engine installation/removal and laser alignment

• Lead gearbox/axle assembly, rebuilds, maintenance, and component tracking

• Assist fabrication team with TIG welding, machining, fixtures, and hose/line tasks

• Support oil/fuel delivery, drum storage, waste disposal, and general shop tasks

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience

• Strong hands-on experience with internal combustion engines and transmissions

• Ability to use mechanical tools and measuring instruments at a high level

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends with short notice
