Job Description and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity awaits at our expanding EVRAZ Camrose facility! We're seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Electrician to join our growing team.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining critical electrical equipment.

Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance, you'll bring your expertise to a workplace that values safety, collaboration, and professional growth. If you're ready to power up your career with a leader in the steel industry, we want to hear from you!

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs to electrical and control systems
  • Inspect and repair electrical operating equipment as necessary
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs to electrical and control systems
  • Work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, dust, and noise
  • Keep accurate and legible records and maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements
  • Applicants must possess valid inter-provincial journeyman electrical certification
  • Previous work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is essential
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • PLC and or VFD troubleshooting is considered an asset
  • Oracle eAM or other CMMS experience is considered an asset
  • Must have reliable transportation as work site not assessable by transit
