ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is looking for an energetic and friendly individual to fill a part-time Event Security role at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the primary focus of this individual is to ensure the safety of guests and secure restricted areas. This is a part-time, event-based, hourly position and assigned shifts may include days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Essential duties include checking bags with x-ray equipment, operating walkthrough magnetometers, greeting guests, verifying credentials, cleaning high touch surfaces, assisting with ticket scanning, responding to disturbances, securing ticketed areas, completing incident reports, diffusing volatile situations, cooperating with other departments, enforcing facility policies, monitoring crowds, and assisting guests during emergencies. The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, teamwork, and clear communication in English. Physical demands include working in various environments, standing for extended periods, and navigating different floor surfaces.
