Event Specialist Job Opportunity 

Location: Dallas, Texas

 

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Specialist to join our growing team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing memorable events that exceed client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive event strategies and timelines for corporate, social, and special events
  • Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate all logistical details including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation
  • Conduct site visits and perform thorough venue assessments
  • Create and manage event communication processes
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Prepare post-event reports and conduct client satisfaction evaluations

Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
  • Experience with corporate and social event planning
  • 1-2 years of professional event planning experience
  • Knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth event venues
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish a plus)
