About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Vice President, Programs to lead and oversee all programming activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the organization's mission to enhance global food security, setting both short- and long-term strategic directions, and ensuring the achievement of programmatic outcomes. This pivotal role involves working closely with the executive team to develop and implement organizational strategies, as well as with cross-functional teams to secure the necessary resources for program execution. The EVP will also be responsible for nurturing relationships within the global network, identifying strategic opportunities in various markets, and fostering a culture of innovation to address the complex challenges of hunger relief. Key responsibilities for the EVP include designing and implementing programs that deliver impact and can be supported by external stakeholders, increasing financial investment through effective donor engagement, and managing a global team to ensure the successful execution of program goals. The role requires a strong focus on modernizing food bank operations, building collaborative relationships, and representing the organization at various events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program management, a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
