Overview:

Maintains, repairs and overhauls farm equipment and vehicles such as, tractors, forklifts, brush shredders, spray equipment, windmachines, and other mechanically, electrically or motor driven equipment on farms and in farm shops. Examines equipment for defects and dismantles defective equipment using hand tools. Repairs or replaces defective units using hand and power tools.

Here's what you'll do:

• Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Maintains shop and equipment in good safe efficient conditions, with special care to critical equipment.
• Insures that all farm machinery is serviced and maintained on a routine schedule and kept in good operational order.
• Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs as needed, all equipment and rolling stock on a regular basis, as required by management.
• Maintains service and repair records
• Keeps shop Supervisor informed of equipment conditions, upcoming maintenance schedules, and other pertinent equipment information.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

• 1-3 years maintenance experience in repairing farm equipment
• Strong equipment/process troubleshooting skills
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Must have experience in working on all types of engine driven wind machines
• Knowledge of basic math
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bending or stooping
• Ability to work with little or no supervision; and as a team member

Pay Rate: $23.07 per hour.
