Finance Functional Analyst
The Opportunity:

As a data analyst, you will transform and consolidate these disparate data sets, building databases, reconciliations, met rics, dashboards, and applications to achieve data completeness and facilitate management decision-making.
We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to improve accountability in the defense industry. You'll work closely with your customers to understand their challenges and requirements, digging into their data-rich environments to identify the key pieces of their contract reporting puzzles. You'll lead stakeholder interviews and fact-finding efforts, develop business rules for customer data sets, and standardize reconciliations to support completeness validations. You'll provide customers with structured solutions for resp ond ing to inquiries from internal stakeholders, the DoD Inspector General, independent public accountants, and other s. You Have: \n - 5+ years of experience within DoD or Fortune 500 in the areas of finan cia l reporting, audit, internal controls, and data analytics
\n - Experience acquiring, ingesting, and normalizing data, and organizing databases
\n - Experience writing data ingestion business rules in SQL and building data reconciliations
\n - Experience with project management and Scrum Agile development
\n - Experience leading teams, reviewing work, and helping achieve tight deadlines
\n - Secret clearance
\n - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or CS
\n

Nice If You Have: \n - Experience with modern relational databases, including MySQL or PostgreSQL
\n - Experience providing recommendations using dashboards, visualizations, or reports using BI platforms such as Qlik Sense or Tableau
\n - Ability to manipulate and integrate databases with SQL, Python, or other languages
\n - Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively, communicate development plans, and track progress milestones
\n - Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing priorities
\n - Ability to successfully work on cross-functional projects and teams
\n - Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including briefing senior leadership
\n - Possession of excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management
\n - Possession of excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
\n - Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including assessing numbers, trends, and data to reach new conclusions based on findings

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
