About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Accountant to join our Global Finance team. This role will play a key part in streamlining our month-end close process, driving international financial operations, and ensuring seamless compliance across diverse jurisdictions. We’re seeking an enthusiastic candidate with experience in international accounting, ideally in a multi-level marketing (MLM) or consumer goods environment, who enjoys collaborating across time zones and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and record journal entries for international payroll, sales, commissions, and intercompany transactions.
  • Reconcile international bank accounts (e.g., Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea).
  • Manage deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and amortization schedules across multiple markets.
  • Support the creation and review of financial statements for international entities (e.g., Japan, China, Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand).
  • Assist with consolidated financial reporting and secondary reviews.

• Accounts Payable & Intercompany
  • Enter and verify A/P items for Japan, China, Europe, and other international markets.
  • Reconcile intercompany clearing accounts and complete multiple rounds of intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate with international teams to gather ICO breakdowns and backup documentation.

• Tax & Compliance
  • Support VAT reconciliations and offsets (e.g., Netherlands, Thailand).
  • Assist with income tax accruals and year-end bonus accruals.
  • Prepare and submit required tax filings, including 1099s and property tax returns.

• Banking & Treasury
  • Upload and reconcile bank transactions in NetSuite.
  • Maintain international wire listings and support treasury operations.

• Systems & Tools
  • Work within NetSuite ERP for all accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams using tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in international or multi-entity environments.
• Experience in MLM, direct selling, or consumer goods industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and international accounting principles.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-currency consolidations and FX reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Asia-Pacific and European financial regulations.
• Prior involvement in financial audits or reviews.
