Job title: Fire Safety Equipment Inspector.

Location: Louisville Repair Station 2605 Shipping port Drive Louisville, KY 40212

Qualifications:

First Aid and CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or a licensed physician.

Duties:

Service Barge 185 Inspection :

• Remove, inspect, and weigh two (2) 225 lb. carbon dioxide system for combustible and flammable liquids.
• Remove, inspect, and weigh six (6) 600 lb. carbon dioxide fire suppression system.
• Inspect and test 48 heat detectors on the vessel.
• Inspect portable fire extinguishers.

Derrick Boat 50 Inspection

• Inspect portable fire extinguishers.
• Remove, inspect, and weigh fourteen. carbon dioxide system.

Derrick Boat 11 Inspection

• Inspect portable fire extinguishers.
• Remove, inspect, and weigh a 200 lb. engine room carbon dioxide fire suppression system bottle.
• Inspect and test one (1) heat detector on the vessel.

Storage Barge 792 Inspection

• Inspect Eight (8) 10 lb ABC fire extinguishers.

Shreve Inspection

• Inspect twenty-four (24) fire extinguishers.
• Inspect the Shreve’s CO2 fire suppression system and its sixteen (16) cylinders.

m/v Russelburg Inspection

• Inspect five (5) fire extinguishers.
• Inspect the Russelburg’s CO2 fire suppression system and its two (2) cylinders.

Miscellaneous Fire Extinguishers Inspection

• Inspect twenty-one (21) 2.5 lb ABC fire extinguishers.
