We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires a strong commitment to safety and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of fire sprinkler systems in a variety of residential settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects, use advanced technology, and contribute to the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams to carry out job duties.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members, other trades, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard of quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and explaining the work being done.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, specifically in residential settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all types of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal fire and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification or licensure as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter is highly desirable.
