Job Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a warehouse associate in Hutto. In this role, you will be responsible for incoming orders by working with an energetic team. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
As a warehouse associate you’ll be responsible for:
Drives sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks as needed.
Moves hazardous materials.
Maintains clean work area.
Pallet building and pallet picks.
Loads goods onto conveyer belts.
Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material.
Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.
Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers, rail cars, and cargo ships.
Weighs and records weights of products.
Analyzes productions schedules to determine timely transportation of materials and products.
What you’ll need:
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of technology and machinery used for transporting or storing materials
Understanding of inventory
Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner
Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage
Ability to work well with others
2+ years of experience as a forklift operator

Pay is $16-$19 depending on experience
