Job Description
Mandate:
Reporting to the Customs Brokerage Manager, the Freight Agent will be responsible for monitoring international cargo from origin to its final destination as well as handling all customer needs regarding import documentation. You will be responsible for interacting daily with customers, service providers and carriers as well as issue invoices according to policy. You will also be responsible for tracking outgoing couriers and any other duties that are assigned.
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding operations (air, ocean and ground)
• Experience in dealing with local brokerage procedures and US customs regulations
• Knowledge of US Export/TSA and FMC regulations
