Furniture Medic is a leading Furniture and Cabinet Restoration Company serving both residential and commercial clients in the Denver Metro Area. We are growing rapidly and currently seeking full-time team members. This position requires on site visits to both residential and commercial customers. We specialize in providing furniture and cabinet restoration services for the insurance industry. We are a family friendly business that understands the importance of work-life balance. Job Responsibilities: Perform all services assigned carefully, promptly and efficiently Represent our company so that the Furniture Medic image is always enhanced in the eyes of all customers To develop and maintain skills and quality of production and to attend training sessions as required To contribute to the improvement of Furniture Medic in areas related to production, sales, and supervision Maintain positive attitude while resolving production, mechanical and scheduling difficulties which may arise on occasion Job Requirements: 10+ years experience with furniture repairs, restoration, and finishing - from start to finish Ability to perform precision repairs and touch-ups utilizing industry standard techniques Ability to repair, prep, color match, and finish antique furniture Ability to fabricate duplicate and custom furniture parts and pieces Experience with various wood stripping processes Experience with vaneering and re-veneering Experience with lacquer finishes, waterborne finishes, glazing processes, and distressing processes Must be proficient in set-up and use of all common wood working tools including table saw, cordless drill, nail gun, router, miter saw, stationary sanders, planer, etc. Ability to perform work safely in a fast paced production environment.
