We are looking for a Global Buyer for our Tire Centers who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring tires, parts, and related inventory to support the operations of the tire center. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, supplier relationships, and competitive pricing while aligning with company standards, customer needs, and profitability goals. The Tire Center Buyer will collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.

What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)

Procurement and Sourcing

• Source and procure tires, accessories, and related products to meet operational and customer demands.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost savings and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list and ensure competitive pricing.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Forecast demand for tires and related products based on sales trends, seasonality, and market conditions.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of inventory.

Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Evaluate supplier performance, including delivery timelines, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Resolve issues with suppliers, such as delayed shipments, defective products, or pricing discrepancies.
• Working with our vendors to create exciting promotional experiences for our members.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze purchasing data and market trends to make informed procurement decisions.
• Track and report key performance metrics, including cost savings, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
• Prepare and present procurement forecasts and budgets to senior management.

Compliance and Policy Adherence

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Stay up to date on regulations and industry standards related to tire procurement and supply chain management.

Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in the automotive or tire industry.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of tire specifications, brands, and market trends is a plus.
