In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. You will maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members, ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests, perform various hotel cleaning services to keep guest rooms clean according to established standards, visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs, assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request, and ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. You may also be asked to assist in laundry or clean public spaces when needed. Drury Hotels are open 7 days a week with busiest days on weekends, so working Saturdays and Sundays may be required. No previous cleaning experience is required. Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school. Physical requirements include ability to walk and stand for entire shift, push, vacuum, reach, stretch, bend, and occasionally lift 25-35 pounds. Reports to Executive Housekeeper / Assistant General Manager and maintains positive cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments.
