As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. You will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.
Functions:
- Learn the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Support employee orientation and training activities, ensuring new hires are equipped with necessary information and resources.
- Team with the HR department on implementing programs and initiatives, such as employee benefits, and employee recognition programs.
- Team with the HR Department on employee inquiries and requests regarding policies, procedures, and benefits, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduate's degree
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs in real-time.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully contribute to and/or lead project teams.
- Open to learning new things, curious by nature.
- Experience interacting with individuals across multiple levels of reporting including senior leaders.
- Demonstrates a DFW (Down For Whatever) Attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility
Salary Range: $18-$20 depending on academic year.
