Job Description

Our major client in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an I&E Designer IV to work within their facilities located in Tulsa, OK for a 3-month assignment.

Summary: The ideal candidate will conduct complex design assignments for the Engineering Department and functions as a technical specialist, formulating and developing advanced engineering and design concepts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Solves technical problems related to projects and troubleshoots and updates report data for business unit(s)
• Analyzes related components and systems, processes and methods, and refinery processes and economics
• Understands and can create and modify engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment and installations.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
• Evaluates and applies technical specifications into project designs.
• Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in electrical, instrumentation & controls is required.
• Emphasis on controls engineering and power distribution is required.
• Refinery or petrochemical industry experience is preferred.
• SAP experience – basic knowledge
• AutoCAD – at least 5 years of experience
• Medium to high voltage experience
• Ability to manage a project is essential.
• Working knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts and ability to apply this knowledge analytically.
• Ability to stay abreast of new technology developments and processes is essential. Technical expert in area of specialty.
• Ability to compare field installations against engineering documents.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with engineering software is preferred.

Work Schedule: 5 days on/ 2 days off
