We are currently seeking a  Inpatient Therapy Technician  for our  Inpatient Therapy department. In this role, you will be working under the supervision and direction of licensed professionals in the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, providing support in their delivery and execution of rehabilitation services. The position requires a detailed oriented individual who is able to assist with clerical/office related tasks, provide physical support and assistance during rehabilitation interventions, and maintain environmental organization and preparation standards. This position reports to the Inpatient Therapy Supervisor and is an hourly, full-time, (non-exempt) position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • One (1) year of healthcare work experience in a technician or assistive role preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Skills in following direction and executing assigned tasks
  • Skills in interpersonal relationships with the ability to get along with diverse personalities and ability to be tactful, mature and flexible required
  • Skills in reasoning, problem-solving, making effective decisions and using sound judgment required
  • Skills in time management with the ability to work independently and take initiative required
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required
  • Ability to use tact and professionalism in all aspects of the position is required
  • Computer keyboard and basic computer operating knowledge required

Licensure, registration and certification:

  • CPN/BLS required
