Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$81,500.00 – $134,500.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Learning is essential to everything we do. At Travelers we believe in an inclusive learning culture that provides employees a variety of ways to support them during their learning journey. As a Learning Designer, you will design, develop, and deliver learning strategies to train employees to perform their jobs through use of multimedia and technology tools, which may include e-learning/self paced, multimedia, materials for instructor-led training, and job aids. You will contribute to the development of project plans, communicate results and recommendations to business partners, and manage work through the project life cycle for assigned projects.
In this role, you’ll develop promotional emails, newsletters, and SharePoint websites for learning activities and events. You’ll create promotional videos and video-based learning content, as well as produce podcasts. Additional responsibilities include producing e-learning courses using a variety of tools and developing learning curriculum to assemble in our learning experience platform (LXP).
Our ideal candidate will have proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with experience in additional Adobe tools being a plus. You should be proficient with video editing tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere, and advanced with Articulate Storyline and Rise e-learning authoring tools. Experience with animation tools like Adobe After Effects or Vyond, along with expertise in audio editing tools including Adobe Audition. SharePoint development knowledge is a plus.
