Job Description
We are a small engineering/ surveying firm located in Holly Ridge North Carolina. We are looking for a land survey/CAD technician with knowledge and proficiency with basic AutoCAD, the use of data collection software for surveying, and string collaboration skills. You will need to work well with others and adjust to office needs quickly. Recent college graduates and currently enrolled students are accepted. This position is for full or part time and is for "om site" work only- not remote.
The candidate is required to have basic knowledge and skills to draw plans on AutoCAD. The primary responsibilities are concentrated on LAND SURVEY/CAD technician duties. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
(1) The use of basic AutoCAD software for the drawing of boundary lines, topography, construction surveys, and "as-built" surveys. Transportation drawing/design is a bonus.
(2) You must be able to interpret and process field files INTO drawing files (survey).
(3) You need to have the ability to perform deed, map book, easement, and title search.
