Borsello Landscaping is seeking a landscape architect with a strong background in high-end residential
design-build work, and specific experience in the design and construction of outdoor living
environments. This is a full time, on-site position that reports to the Director of Design. Duties involve
the execution of residential design projects from start to finish under the guidance of the Director of
Design.
Preferred Qualifications:
 5-7 years of high-end residential design-build experience in Southeastern PA and Delaware on
large and small properties and muti-trade, outdoor living projects.
 Graduate of a CLARB accredited university program, licensure is not required, but a plus.
 Dynascape and/or AutoCAD proficient, able to fully document all project phases from beginning
to end.
 Understanding of residential site and landscape design on new construction sites and existing
properties.
 Ability to perform all stages of design including site analysis, code review and application,
conceptual design, detailed design, construction detailing, and material take offs.
 Demonstrated experience in site grading, layout and dimensioning, planting design, construction
documentation and storm water management design.
 Familiarity with residential spatial and functional design, including parking courts, outdoor
kitchens and living areas, terraces, decks, pavilions, swimming pools, spas, etc.
 Familiar with state-of-the-art outdoor living materials and components including furniture,
lighting, irrigation, audio-visual systems, fire features, composite decking, guards and handrails,
swimming pools and spas, water features, pergolas, garden structures, paving, and outdoor
cabinetry, etc.
 Conversant in the construction practices typically encountered in residential landscape
construction including masonry, carpentry, concrete, precast walls and paving, planting
operations, site work, arbor care, utilities, drainage, etc.
 Knowledge of natural systems encountered on residential sites and how to integrate the built
landscape with woodlands, meadows, streams, coastal areas and beachfront sites.
 MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows), Gmail, Google apps (drive, photos) Abode
Acrobat power user level experience with PC computers required. Photoshop a plus.
 Ability to employe hand graphics a plus.
 No sales or client presentations required.
 Must be able to drive to project sites and perform field analysis work. Ability to prepare hand
drawn base maps highly preferred.
