Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. LocationOur West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job SummaryThe Political Science Lecturer must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have a commitment to integrating new technologies into the learning process. The candidate must also have the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed.
The responsibilities for this position include teaching assigned courses, preparing and delivering lectures in a face-to-face and/or online environment, leading and moderating classroom discussions and contributing to the department's activities.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
ResponsibilitiesMaster's Degree in Political Science or related discipline, or Master's Degree with 18 hours of Political Science courses at the graduate level.
College Teaching Experience.
Preferred QualificationsPhD in Political Science or related discipline with 18 hours of Political Science courses.
