Job Description Job Description Legal Administrative Assistant & Paralegal Opportunities Southwest Austin Law Firms $45,000–$75,000/year We are a staffing agency working with a few law firms in the Southwest Austin area seeking experienced Legal Administrative Assistants and Paralegals to join their teams. These are full-time, in-office opportunities with immediate openings available. What You'll Do: What You\'ll Do Legal Administrative Assistants: Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings Draft correspondence, proofread legal documents, and prepare reports Organize and maintain case files, client records, and legal documents Answer phones, respond to client inquiries, and relay messages Assist with basic legal research and data entry into case management systems Handle administrative tasks including billing, invoicing, and office correspondence Paralegals: Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits Assist with case preparation by organizing evidence, exhibits, and trial materials Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates File documents with courts and coordinate with opposing counsel Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trials What We're Looking For: 2–5 years of experience in a legal office environment (entry-level to experienced candidates welcome) Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation Proficiency with case management software, legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis), and Microsoft Office Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Paralegal certificate or associate\'s degree preferred (for paralegal roles) Why Apply?
