** Job Title: Legal Assistant **

** About Pitisci, Dowell & Markowitz ** Pitisci, Dowell & Markowitz is a highly focused personal injury law firm located in Tampa, FL, specializing exclusively in plaintiff's auto accident cases. The firm's owner handles all files personally, maintaining a boutique caseload of 60-70 cases per year. We offer a competitive, professional, and structured environment where your litigation support skills are the focus.

** The Role ** We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to manage the full front-end litigation process for our firm. Your primary responsibility is to serve as the critical support line, handling all file movement from initial pleading through pre-mediation. This is a full-time, in-office position with the potential for flexible remote work once a strong working relationship is established.

** Key Responsibilities **

• ** Pleadings & Filing: ** Independently draft and file lawsuits and initial court pleadings.
• ** Discovery Management: ** Prepare and propound initial discovery, including Answers to Interrogatories and Responses to Requests to Produce/Requests for Admissions.
• ** Case Coordination: ** Schedule depositions (depos) for attorneys and clients.
• ** Medical Records: ** Efficiently order, track, and organize all necessary medical records.

** Qualifications **

• ** Required Litigation Experience: ** Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable litigation experience in Florida , specifically handling personal injury or automobile insurance defense cases.
• ** Knowledge: ** Excellent working knowledge of the Florida front-end civil litigation process and discovery procedures.
• ** Skills: ** Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with legal scheduling and filing systems.
• ** Schedule: ** Full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday.
• ** Location: ** Must be able to commute to the office in Tampa, FL.
