Studio Schicketanz, an award-winning architecture and design firm, is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Architect .

• This job is located in Carmel CA. For the right candidate, we are open to having this be a remote role for 4 out of the 5 working days. We would need you to come in at least one day a week.

• Based in Carmel, our firm specializes in customized residential architecture and interiors.
• Most of our staff is LEED accredited.
• We are known for environmentally conscious designs and are dedicated to creating sustainable projects that draw upon the strengths of their surroundings.
• All our projects are a seamless merging of interior design, architecture, and the exterior space beyond.
• Project Architect is a project leadership position with responsibility for architectural design and technical production of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a Team of Architects and Designers
• In house design proposals and client presentation, meeting minutes
• Coordination with outside consultants for project related work and proposals
• Coordination with Contractors for project management, bidding and process application for payments
• Coordination with the Design team and Permit processor as part of in house project management
• Client correspondence, managing project schedule and periodical site visits
• Manage online and paper filing

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit.
• License and LEED certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required, Master's degree preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, technical and graphic skills
• Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; 3D software such as Sketchup.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
