Looking to hire a practicing Catholic teacher who can teach Literature and philosophy to a small group (2-10 kids) of homeschool children (middle school age). We are open to a third subject as well. The classes would be 2-3 hours one time per week (Mondays preferably) and would meet in North Scottsdale. The teacher's focus would be to lead and facilitate a Socratic discussion among the students. Additionally the teacher will need to plan the class, provide a syllabus, assign reading, papers and any other homework. Also grade papers and provide a grade each trimester. Please consider this opportunity and contact me if you have any questions. This is a great opportunity for a retired teacher, new teacher looking to get experience and even an education major student looking to get experience.
