OB RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Lead cross functional project teams focused on new product introduction, continuous improvement, and nonconformance resolution. *
Develop manufacturing processes and tools to ensure products and services provided meet all contractual, program, design, and quality requirements. *
Create engineering documentation including models, drawings, routings, testing specifications, reports, and work instructions. *
Disposition manufacturing non-conformances and determine root causes and solutions. *
Troubleshoot machines and processes. *
Meet with customers to define their needs and determine the best solutions. *
Co-develop cost estimates for new process implementation and manufacturing quotes. *
Participate in design, manufacturing, and test documentation reviews to ensure applicable contract, program, design, and quality requirements are met.

EQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
Bachelor"s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.*
Process exposure/experience and design intelligence as it relates to parts, and processes. *
Minimum 3-5 years providing engineering support to a manufacturing environment, with core mechanical engineering skills and understanding (understanding concepts, quality tools, gauges, CMM, etc.) *
Project management acumen, with the ability to identify issues/challenges and develop solutions, and also have the knowledge to know when escalation is necessary.*
Proficient with computer systems and basic software, experience with CAD (Solid Works, NX, AutoCAD, or similar). *
Machining, press/forming, welding, brazing, heat-treat and inspection experience. *
Die, tool, fixture and gage design experience.*
Minimum 3 years in aerospace industry *
Experience optimizing high mix / low volume production. *
Proven success with team leadership and continuous improvement *
Lean and six sigma experience *
Sheet metal experience
