OVERVIEW-
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our client's team. This position will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expanding their market presence through strategic marketing initiatives, online campaigns, and brand development. The role requires a proven tactician with experience in driving engagement and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate has a creative mind, can-do attitude, and passionate about growing e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong background in B2B digital marketing, ideally within industrial/commercial sectors.
REPORTING STRUCTURE-
The Marketing Manager will be held responsible for managing all outside agency relationships.
SUCCESS FACTORS / MAIN COMPETENCIES-
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development:
Plan, execute, and optimize comprehensive marketing strategies that drive awareness, generate online leads/orders, and ultimately increase sales. Emphasize email marketing, social media marketing, and content development.
Digital Marketing & Optimization:
Oversee the day-to-day management of PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) campaigns. Track, analyze, and optimize performance to improve ROI and maximize visibility in search engines. Implement strategies to enhance website conversion rates and improve user experience.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
Use data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjust strategies, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as lead generation, conversion rates, and sales growth. Continuously monitor digital trends and competitor activity.
E-commerce Oversight:
Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platform (BigCommerce preferred, but Shopify or Magento experience acceptable). Work closely with the IT and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with online sales platforms, improve product visibility, and enhance customer journey.
Agency Management & Collaboration:
Liaise with external agencies and partners to manage creative, digital, and advertising campaigns. Evaluate agency performance and ensure deliverables meet strategic marketing goals and deadlines.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Lead, mentor, and manage a small marketing team. Provide guidance on daily tasks, campaign strategies, and professional development. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Customer Segmentation & Database Management:
Oversee customer database management, utilizing segmentation strategies to personalize campaigns, target key customer groups, and drive engagement. Ensure that all customer touchpoints are aligned with business objectives.
Budget Management:
Take ownership of the marketing budget, including the planning and management of fiscal resources to ensure optimal spend across various marketing channels. Track spending, evaluate ROI, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure financial targets are met.
Initiative & Proactivity:
A self-starter with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward with minimal supervision. Capable of identifying new opportunities and anticipating challenges.
Strong Analytical Skills:
Demonstrates a deep understanding of data analysis, able to draw actionable insights from complex datasets to drive marketing decisions.
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Strong organizational skills are key.

Excellent Communication Skills:
