Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 to join a team focused on design and performance within a collaborative engineering environment. This role involves working closely with a Torque Converter Engineer and supporting functions such as maintenance and quality assurance, while also providing technical support to senior engineers on a range of mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems, with a focus on performance and reliability.
Collaborate with maintenance and QA teams to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.
Support hardware development initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related engineering software tools to create and revise technical designs.
Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with engineering standards and project timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a mechanical engineering role.
Proficiency with engineering software and applications, particularly CAD tools.
Solid understanding of hardware design principles and product development processes.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
