Any Lab Test Now is a leading provider of direct-access lab testing services, allowing individuals to take control of their health by conveniently and affordably accessing a wide variety of lab tests without the need for a doctor's order. Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team at Any Lab Test Now. In this role, you will play a critical part in our mission to provide accessible and efficient laboratory services to our clients.
Responsibilities: - Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and professionalism.
- Prepare patients for laboratory tests and procedures.
- Perform injections
- Perform drug, dna and rapid testing such as flu, strep, RSV, and COVID
- Collect and label specimens accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering calls
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy program or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a laboratory is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures is an advantage.
We are looking for a part time individual who can potentially move to full time. Pay is DOE.
Saturday's are required for this position.
