We seek applicants at all levels with outstanding research programs. Areas of interest include infection and cancer, host/pathogen interactions, HIV/AIDS, emerging pathogens, cancer immunology, and autoimmunity. We are particularly interested in applicants with a translational focus and have an established funded research program. Applicants will be expected to establish their research program in the outstanding environment of our disease-focused Centers, particularly the Center for AIDS Research and the NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent, and should be able to effectively contribute to both the research and the teaching missions of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Quality research facilities, significant start-up funds, and salary support will be provided commensurate with the rank.
